Not really taking requests are anything.
Just showing my old works when I used to GFX.

Might get back into it again if I'm able to fix my edtting program.

I should try to get better at things like this. So far, I can only change the color of things/mess around with effects. <w<;;

Hmmmm...

Mind if I say a few things? :)

Your images are sort of a hit and miss for me. You have a good grasp of editing techniques and what looks to be a large collection of resources to use which is good :)... But the placement of type in some of the pictures near the top don't seem to fit the rest of the image.


In My Own World, Life Can Be Random, and Ice Cream are the best in my opinion. The font is well proportioned to the rest of the picture and you selected a good colour scheme for all of them.


Vintage Sound is also nice, with a good selection of font, but the point where the S curls up and meets the A is very awkward. You should move the "Sound" a little left so it didn't intersect so close, or emphasized the "S" to make it stand out strongly against the "a".


Ladymade Star (love the song and the game by the way :D) is an example of a banner that lacks foreground and background. Although the larger faces are faded and mixed with some brushes/textures, the colour scheme and detail is still too similar to the foreground and it looks like the entire banner is just a single splat of colour.


Secretly dreaming is similar to this but since there is a background of different colour, it isn't as... bland. The text is difficult to see at first glance too.


On the other hand, Best Friends is (to me) the perfect balance of editing and... Not editing? >.>' You kept the image intact mostly, and prettied up the outside with the little brushes here and there. But my issue with it is the text. Adding a pink box and that fairly large type places his awkward spot right on top of the banner for me. All text does not have to be 100% readable and on top of the subject, in fact it would look much better to me if it were behind the girl's heads (like on the floor if they were lying down) so you can keep all the details of their heads and still have the message there.


I like Fairy Blue's colouring, but the girl's head in the background is still very striking and it draws attention away from her in the middle, to her huge eyes on the side, away from the text. Also "Blue" should be moved more away from the edge to keep the balance of the image.


The same goes with the Lelouche banner. The text in front obscures his suit and same with the text in front of his hair. It would look better if you put it behind him since it blocks so much of him that it intrudes on the image.


Everything else is pretty much covered by what I say, but no fear you aren't bad. The last two I do like and I have nothing wrong to point out (wrong by my standards which are subjective)


The background fits very nicely and the text is of perfect size. I'm particularly bad at creating complex (more complex) backgrounds like the ones you have and "In My Own World" has a very nice colourscheme. Not too much of one colour and not so completely random that the background draws attention and swallows the focus.

Oh, and I use GIMP as well as PhotoScape.

But my PhotoScape for some reason got a glitch I guess and stopped working.

So until I somehow fix it, my GFX days are over~ -3-

Is it the new GIMP 2.6? What's the issue? Is it an in-program error or a loading error because I'd love to help And also, I suggest Photoshop. I use GIMP as well but Photoshop's colour editing functions are beautiful <3
